PENGARUH PEMBERIAN EKSTRAK BUAH NANAS (Ananas comosus) TERHADAP BAKTERI Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans SECARA IN VITRO

Latar belakang: empat belas koma tiga persentase dari masyarakat Indonesia mengalami penyakit periodonsium. Bakteri Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans adalah bakteri yang dapat ditemukan pada 90% penderita periodontitis agresif. ini termasuk dalam golongan gram-negatif merupakan penyebab utama Nanas (Ananas comosus) tanaman buah mengandung enzim bromelin. Enzim berpotensi memiliki sifat antibakteri. Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui daya antibakteri ekstrak nanas dengan konsentrasi 25%, 50% dan 100% terhadap pertumbuhan actinomycetemcomitans. Metode: penelitian bersifat eksperimental laboratoris secara in vitro. Uji hambat metode difusi agar menggunakan cakram kertas. kontrol positif (chlorhexidine 0,2%). Cawan petri diinkubasi lingkungan anaerob suhu 35oC selama 18 jam. Perhitungan mengukur zona bening di sekitar kertas jangka sorong. Hasil: hasil menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan signifikan statistik pemberian chlorhexidine Nilai p pengaruh 0,000 (p 0,05). Tidak Kesimpulan: tidak (Aa).
